From their documentation:
The default width used by emails built with our editor is 580px with a 10px margin on both sides.
This is the best width for email clients compatibility (especially for Outlook and Yahoo), while being also compatible with modern and mobile mail clients with media queries.
If you really need to change the width of emails built with our editor, you will need to replace all occurrences of "580px" and "596px" in the PHP files and generated CSS files:
media/com_acym/css/editorWYSID.min.css
media/com_acym/css/libraries/foundation_email.min.css
administrator/components/com_acym/helpers/mailer.php
Thank you I am a beginner and would not do that. I don't really understand it and it would take me forever. I will look for another company that just allows it as part of the package.
I just don't understand it here is what v9 looks like on gmail - and here is v5 where it just uses all the space - I can barely use the editor in v9 as it is so small but the editor v5 is large and usable
everything in v9 is more complicated I just cant see how they think that it is an improvement?
they have stopped supporting v5 and it does not seem to work on joomla 5
so after 10 years of being happy I think I have to move on.
If any one know any advantages of V9 please let me know as I have no IT experience and getting on 67. One reason I want a larger editor that I can see.
